Hello, Hello !

I always pop up when I have exciting news...

And boy oh boy, do I have some very exciting news!!

I'll be returning to the USA in August 2024 -

- to teach at the prestigious Madeline Island School of the Arts in beautiful Wisconsin!!!

And guess what? It's going to be a 5-DAY WHIZZ BANG workshop!

Yes, you read that right, all caps-worthy!

I am incredibly passionate about these techniques and quilts, and nothing brings me more joy than sharing the magic of them with others. That's why I would be absolutely thrilled if you could join me at the workshop. I know we're all in for an unforgettable time together!

5 days is the dream amount of time!! It will be so great to have plenty of time to properly dive deep into the various techniques, explore the different styles of blocks, and create something truly amazing.

Whether you're drawn to the original Whizz Bang Quilt,

or the beautiful 'Dollop of Cream' design,

the vibrant and funky 'Zap Zing Zowie',

or colourful and scrappily happy like 'Merry Whizz',

the dark and moody 'Shirt Tales',

or the fun and bubbly 'Lolly Bliss Bombs',

or work on a Whizzy style quilt of your own design, we'll have plenty of time to learn, experiment, and bring your quilt to life.

For those of you who may not be familiar with the Madeline Island School of the Arts (MISA). It's situated on Madeline Island, the largest of the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior.

MISA offers an enchanting backdrop for creative adventures. We'll be surrounded by serene landscapes and immersed in the island's natural beauty, allowing our creativity to flourish in this peaceful setting. MISA has everything we need to make our experience comfortable and enjoyable, from spacious and well-equipped classrooms to cosy accommodation and delicious meals.
