A Handful of Gum Leaves

A sunny day, a walk in my garden and a handful of gum leaves inspired these photos...

It should always end with a smile.

  2. Excellent! I have a burnt Eucalyptus leaf that I keep as a reminder. It arrived in our yard during the Cedar Fire of 2003 (aka 2003 Firestorm). It traveled over 15 miles with the ash and smoke and landed in one piece on our front lawn. Mother Nature is an awesome force--and not just a beautiful one.

  5. I see a pattern emerging. Soon you will have more time for stitching and I llike the happy face. The colors are so varied in the gums guess that's how are birds hide. Enjoy the day
