2 New Quilts
Sometimes it's nice to whip up a fun quick quilt.
I grabbed some fat quarters of Girl's World Vibe by Sis Boom
and made a Twister Quilt.
I had leftover fabric...
so I added some little elephants.
and made another top.
My wonderful long arm quilter Tanya Croft donated the quilting so together we've made these quilts for Inspirational Quilts, an organisation that gives quilts to children with Cystic Fibrosis or the children of families staying in at Ronald McDonald House during major illness and/or treatment.
Don't you think one of the best things about making quilts is giving them away?

Oh yes, yes ... and YES! I love giving quilts away too, Rachael. Sadly the charity quilts I've seen over the years haven't all been as exquisite and fun as yours. Those recipients are truly blessed :-)
