Fobble Bobbles
How cool are Wool Felt Balls?
They look like fuzzy bubble gum
or colourful 3D polka dots
They're a pleasure to sew, the needle just glides through the felty goodness.
And are easily attached with glue.
Their colourful bubbly appearance is just asking for cute photos
Happy bobbly flowers
A rainbow spiral
A forest...
...where a sweet smiling bear lives.
Oh yes!! Wool Felt Balls are so cool!!
but I think they should have a more exciting name than Wool Felt Balls.
What do think of Fobble Bobbles?
or
Felt Bubbles, Wool Pebbles, Sewing Spheres, Woolly Balls, Febbles, FeltBees, WFB's ?
It's funny the things I think about when I'm sewing. :)

ReplyDeleteYou have such a fun brain Rachael! Do you smile in your sleep? I think you must! Felbubbles? Bubbly Fubbly? Whatever you call them, they are fun!
ReplyDeletelove that rainbow spiral - in fact love rainbows full stop! They just make me smile, as do you :-)
ReplyDeleteThe cupie doll nestled in bubbles of colour remind me of Bib and Bub. Your imagination is a delight. I have a big smile on my face.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Faubles?
ReplyDeleteLove your fun take on felt balls. I like Cardy's idea, Faubles!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to buy me some felt balls- you make it look so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI love those felt balls! It's the color and texture....so yummy! I had to smile at woolly balls tho! 😳
ReplyDeleteTehe ... you know I can't pick them up, they make my fingers feel weird (nails down a chalkboard weird) so 'wobbly bobbles' describes how my knees go :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going for 'itchy little buggers' ;o)
ReplyDeleteThe bear in the forest made me smile! I like felt bubbles!
ReplyDelete❤️ U!
ReplyDeleteYes, 3D polka dots! That describes them quite well.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! I want to come and play with you!
ReplyDeleteLOL, how's the quilting going? Isn't it a challenge to come up with blog posts when your current project looks pretty much the same for months on end? I know I have that problem, but you are doing a great job here! These photos really are cute and fun. :D
ReplyDeleteHi Monica,
ReplyDeleteThat's not the case at all. Sometimes I find my inspiration elsewhere other than my current project and like to share it. I enjoy styling and taking photos as much as sewing.
Love the fuzzy balls.....
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty and colorful, especially on this dreary day.
ReplyDeleteYou so such a good job taking beautiful pictures of everyday objects!
You put some fun and colour into my day, thank you, I needed that. I'm loving your photos and felt balls so much I had to order some.
ReplyDeleteThey are clearly Wooly Bullies! That way, every time you think of them you can bust out in song!
ReplyDeleteSing it with me!
Uno, Dos, One, Two, Tres, Quatro.. Matty told Hatty about a thing she saw. Had two big horns and a wooly jaw. Wooly bully, wooly bully, wooly bully!
hahahaha. It may be late and I may be tired.
Love your pictures - well done and creative!
Molto graziose le palline in feltro, si prestano a mille giochi!
ReplyDeleteI too find these balls mesmerising. I love seeing them strung in garlands. Felt ball making was my kinder activity I ran last year. The results were more on the sculptural side than ball side! A couple of days ago, my 4 year old and I were in a shop that had a felt ball rug on the floor. My girl immediately lay down on the rug and started rolling and touching, 'feel how good it is mum'. I did not roll but I do agree, they feel so good.
ReplyDeleteLove Fobble Bobbles! Funny where your mind goes with all these things and takes us along to the fun corners of your design space, aka your brain!
ReplyDeleteso so fun! Loved the photos. Where did you get these or did you make them? they would make a really fun garland!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh! I love the vibrant colors and wool anything is great to work with, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHave fun dreaming,
Judy
Love how you "dream" in color! Very inspiring photos you've got there! I love the "wooly bullies" or whatever you call them. Such fun!
ReplyDeleteI too think about odd things when I sew....or sometimes I don't think...which can be a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI think fobble bobble is a winner. It just rolls off the tongue. I just love it when you do these type of posts. They are so fun!
ReplyDeleteWow Rachael you are on fire...I kinda like Wool Pebbles!
