What a fabulous giveaway, since I won the last one, I won't go in this draw. Any flower is my favourite! I have a fondness for lily of the valley, I had a couple of beds of them once and they look so sweet and they have such a delicate perfume.

When I was a little girl I went to a wedding where the bride had daisies for her bouquet and I loved it so much they've always been my favourite. I love your blog - a nice find, and I think I'd like the book, although the small quilt is adorable too.

ReplyDeleteI kinda wanna say my fave flower is orchid because it's the national flower of singapore. But honestly I find it ugly. So I really prefer hibiscus which can be found in the wild. And I'd love the quilt over the book because I can borrow the book from my library.

I don't know if that's its official name, but outside of the florist shop I've only seen them growing wild in Alaska. ReplyDeleteI love Magnolia blossoms. We had a Magnolia tree when I was growing up, and I just loved the pops of white against the green leaves.
My favourite flower is the lily valley. I am addicted to the smell.

ReplyDeleteOh dear, I am absolutely drooling! My favourite flower is a toss up between gerbera daisies (because really what flower is more fun and moder?) and a peony. I have a lovely peony bush in my backyard that gives we clippings all summer.

Hmmm...it's hard to pick a favorite flower. If pressed I would say Lily of the Valley - so sweet and delicate and hidden - and it smells so lovely. But it is just one of the many, many flowers that thrill my heart. I'd love the embroidery book, since I have a lovely mother-in-law who has alreadymade my girls dolly quilts.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite flower has to be tulips. I've got some that were planted by the previous owners of my house, and despite the neglect to the parts of the yard they are in, they still manage to bloom!
