A super new quilt book featuring Australian quilters called Desert to Sea was just released today!! Here's the fabulous cover.

ReplyDeleteI'm a Bloglovin follower too. My whole garden inspires me - the carpet of tiny purple kale at the moment, bright green parsley leaves I pick for breakfast, but mainly the electric blue of the borage flowers nodding in the rain. Heaven.

I love a big old tree, the welcome shade, the smells and gorgeous breezes that are created under it in a seemingly still and dry summer day. Even the gorgeous rotting/wet smell after a drenching rain.

Oh what a beautiful fabric range! I've not seen it before (I often feel I'm years behind!), but I can imagine it looking very at home with you (it reminds me of you in a way). I am one of your followers - via email and gfc.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...it's hard to choose one particular thing in the garden. I love being in the garden and feeling the breeze. I also love flowers. And fruit. Right now I think my favourite thing are the little vegetable seedlings that are sprouting in the vegetable patch.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing in a garden is to see what gre since yesterday and is it ready to pick. My next favorite part is just looking at all the greens and how the leaves vary and how one stem is sticker and may be hairy. There is so much to see. I hate the spiders!

ReplyDeleteI love "playing in the dirt" as my husband says. We married two years ago. I already had a very nice garden and he had a very nice tiller. It was a match made in heaven. I made all the gift bags for our wedding...homemade salsa & chips. He knows I have two obsessions...my quilting and my gardening. Oh, and my grandsons, and my wonderful understanding husband.
