Remember this quilt top from ages ago?

It's now a quilt!!!

It's actually been finished for a few weeks now but I've been struggling to get a really good photo of it.

The fabrics, Crazy Love by Sis Boom, are so beautiful. They're rich and exotic, bright and pretty all at the same time. I've been trying to capture that on film.

Although close, I don't think I've quite captured their true beauty.
Maybe it's been the light, my camera or maybe some fabrics just need to be seen in real life to be believed.

For the backing I used a top I made a few years ago using mostly Brandon Mably fabrics.

I'm happy it's found it's destiny combined with the Crazy Love top. They make a perfect combo. Gbf calls it a Double A side quilt after the vinyl record singles that had great songs on both sides. A flash back to our youth!

Tanya Croft, my Long Arm Wonder Lady and I decided that circles would be a fun pattern to suit both sides. Those bubbly curves soften the geometric angles and make your eyes dance around in circles.

So there you go, That's the quilt I call Crazy Love. And I am crazy about it! It's on the bed and brightens our room. One day I'm going to make lots of pillow cases in Sis boom fabrics to match. Can't have enough of a good thing!
