....I've been sewing!!
I've just finished the last circle on this quilt.
I'm half way through binding this quilt...
About to piece together these pieces of fabric to make the backing for a long neglected quilt top.
On the weekend I'll be finally using this pile of fabrics that has been taking up a corner of my cutting table for ages.
And slowly but surely making progress with my starry hexies.
Meanwhile in the garden signs of Spring are appearing...
The first daffodil !
And hello pretty blossom!!
So as you can see I may be a bit quiet on the blog but I have been springing into action. I'll have some finished quilts to show soon!! Yay!!

Spring! I'm jealous-today we had our coldest August day in years, south of the border! You have some amazing things on the go! I especially love the look of that stack of neutrals!

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit odd like that, I love winter in Adelaide and I always get a bit sad when the days get longer and the blossoms start coming out. Probably because I know it won't be long and it will be scorchingly hot, maybe I should move to Tassie!

Erk. I know about busy - I have just had two weeks off work and I've been flat chat with the in laws! But now I have a bit of time to sit down and think about what to make next and get a quilt ready for its trip to the quilter - my first professionally done quilt!

At the bottom of this post was a link to your old post (before I followed your blog) about your commute. I loved reading it. I sit with a group of ladies in the morning and chat too. In the afternoon its a different group.
