Raindrops...

keep falling...
It's been raining...
and showers are forecasted for the coming week!

But don't you agree that one of the fun things about being a quilter or craftster...

is the rain means indoor games with our fabrics and crafty bits!!

Or wrapping yourself in a cosy quilt and reading books about faraway places, or planning the next quilt ;-)

The fun thing about it raining here in the Blue Mountains...

is that it makes our gardens so lovely and green!

Come rain, hail or shine I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

I love being at home when it's raining. It looks lovely and green there and just think, it's not good weather for pyromaniacs. The rain just arrived here too.

I forgot to say that your fabrics are really fun especially the umbrellas. How gorgeous is that?

It's raining heavily here right now and I love it. I even had a little run around in my garden in the rain this afternoon, finishing off a bit of weeding. I love your rain drop fabrics. Have a wonderful weekend too.

Now I'm going to be singing "raindrops keep falling on my head' today Rachael!!! I remember those days too well...and it got me thinking...the coast is like the mountains, just not as severe in weather...been raining here too and it's nice and green...I would love a sewing day here today...I've got a sore knee so it's a good excuse...Only thing is we have a good friend coming for the weekend and she's bringing a few bottles of bubbly so that's the end of the sewing ha ha!!! Have a great one and a delicious meal tonight...Dzintra

We had a wild thunderstorm here this morning, lots of rain but it cleared to a beautiful afternoon. It would have been a perfect morning to sew, except life got in the way and I seem to have lost my mojo...again!

Love your raindrop fabrics!
It's been raining down here in Melbourne too, so much that I swear I can hear the grass growing....We Melbournians have such noisy lawns.

Sooo many rainy prints. Gob Smacked. Great puddle pictures and what could be better than time to stitch. You can't mow the grass in the rain. Enjoy the weekend

I love it when its raining and I am sewing up a storm inside where its nice and cosy. We ahve been away for 2 weeks and have come back to a very lush 'garden' (potted plants). A nice chnage from when we go away in summer and come home to nearly dead plants.

Everything looks so lush -
We're changing colors here and finally drying out.

I am calling you our Good Luck Charm. It rained her today!!! About 1.25 inches (3 cm). We are more than 20 inches (51 cm) drier than normal, so every little bit helps.

p.s. Love your rainy fabrics!

Hi Rachael! :) Oh, raindrops! I love the fabrics and I especially love the last photo! Magical! The one thing I love to do on rainy day weekends is to make grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup! Yumm! :)
