ReplyDeleteTulip, and I'll never tire of telling anyone who asks why. My wonderful mother pushed a few she had managed to grow last year into my hand along with some really good paper and watercolour pencils. I had a nasty bout with depression and the delicate beauty of the flower, which I never really "saw" before drew me in like a magnet and I couldn't not try to draw it. This little exercise began to lift the foggy veil that had dropped over my life for far too long. A mother's love and a little flower were the instruments God used to begin my healing.
ReplyDeleteFurther more, thank-you for asking and praise to God, I'm glad to tag on to your blog team.
