ReplyDeleteLilies are my favorite because Lily is my daughter's name. They didn't used to be my favorite, but she gets so tickled when I tell her that those flowers are lilies, just like her, that I love them most now.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite flower is the orchid. It is delicate and rare, but it comes in so many shapes and colors it appeals to everyone and just like people some like it hot, some like it cooler, some like it wet and some like dry. Thought to be difficult to grow it rewards all efforts ten fold.

ReplyDeleteBird of paradise--my ex-husband sent me a flower arrangement made out of them. It had wild sticks and all sorts of weird things sticking out of it and I was kind of embarassed at the office. But, the flowers grew on me and I started to really like them (once I took out the sticks). Even though we are divorced, the flowers are absolutely beautiful and I think good thoughts about him when I see them. Thanks for the giveaway--I'd love the doll quilt. Very pretty!
