I ate broccoli for dinner last night!
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely! I think they would be beautiful in a quilt. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so amazing! I think I would probably make a quilt out of them for myself ... for reading ... I would probably put some solid colored fabric in between. I do however kinda feel that a quilt would be kinda too ordinary for such amazing blocks!!!! Gorgeous. Really!!!

ReplyDeleteI am a new follower!!
ReplyDeleteLet's see...
ReplyDeleteMy first inclination is to put sashing in between, but I think they could be fashioned into a big wonky star and be just amazingly hypnotic!
I had broccoli last night (with cheese, of course because cheese and bacon are the foundation of the food pyramid). And I did accost someone in the street today but I didn't mention your giveaway so maybe i'll try pickpocketing later and see if "feels" right then.
:O)

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool bunch of blocks! I am a newbie quilter so I would probably hold onto them for a while until I've got more skills, but I'd definitely do something fun with them and would send you pictures of the final product. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteHad to become a follower after viewing cookie tastings, serviettes with owls and tree filled Sydney views :). Those fabrics would also look smashing in a lap quilt and I think I have some funky fabrics here that would just go with them.

I didn't have broccoli or pumpkin with dinner(they aren't in season here), but I would love to win the fabric. I can imagine up at least five things to use them up.
ReplyDeleteWOW!! What an outstanding giveaway. THANKYOU FOR THE CHANCE. I'm seeing quilt with light coloured sashing in between. As you have already done ALL the hard work, it is just the best give away ever.
ReplyDeleteI've told 3 crafty friends and the entire office about your blog and giveaway. It's a treasure. Regards, Alison
I'm following your blog! I dig these fabrics, by the way.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine showed me a quilt she made that was super crazy and yet it all went together somehow. I am terrible at putting fabrics together, but I think I'm gaining enough confidence that I may just be able to use these fabrics to make a "crazy floor blanket" for my newborn (one side a mix of these zany and fanciful pieces, and the other a solid soothing color for when baby gets visually overstimulated!) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThank you for such an awesome giveaway! I would definitely work them into a yummy quilt for my granddaughter. =)

I'm so new to sewing that I just get overwhelmed thinking about it. I'm head over heels for this giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and subscriber. Sometimes my google reader doesn't update correctly so I have to do both! Doesn't matter though cause it's worth it! I love it here!

I've never tried pumpkin soup and I'm looking forward to having some some day. I usually make my pumpkin pie with carrots. This year though one store had chunks of pumpkin and I bought one. Enough for 2 pies!

They are scrappy and beautiful and just wonderful. If they come to live here, they will be a scrappy quilt which will be used as a floor covering/play mat in the playroom I'm planning to begin in 2011. If they don't come here, well, it will be my scraps.
ReplyDeleteWhat if I'm not having pumpkin WITH dinner but FOR dinner? Does that count? Pumpkin soup! http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/pumpkin-soup/Detail.aspx
ReplyDeleteOh, these are fabulous! I've never made a quilt - I'm brand-new to sewing - so I would use these to make my first one since I'd just have to figure out the whole construction part and not the piecing. :)
